Jellyfish

And not just any jellyfish. Extremely confused jellyfish. Jellyfish that don’t know where they are. Jellyfish that don’t know why their tentacles are several times larger than the little hat on top. Jellyfish that don’t know which way said tentacles should go and therefore let their tentacles go in all directions.

Some days, jellyfish make new friends. Maybe a bird will appear. Or maybe a lobster. Jellyfish usually like to keep open minds as to what friends they make. For you see, many figure that these friends may be able to help them with their extreme confusion.

Not all jellyfish have such friends yet. Like this one:

This particular jellyfish is confused for many reasons. Not only are its tentacles enormous compared to its hat, but it seems to be trapped in a prison of odd, slanted blue bars for reasons it doesn’t know. Also, there are some odd-looking jellyfish to its right. They don’t seem to want to interact with it, so it’s giving them their space. Except that one with a pointy hat that seems to always be in the same direction relative to it. That confuses this jellyfish.

However, it is a brave jellyfish. In times of need, it stepped up to be the first extremely confused jellyfish, even through its own confusion. Its courage is admirable.

They are, indeed, fascinating beings.
